Over the course of the first unit in World Civilizations you will learn why it is important to study Africa , Asia and Latin America.You will be sensitized to the attitudes and prejudices which make it difficult to gain an objective understanding of these areas of the world.You will acquire a methodology and vocabulary for studying these regions of the world.Finally, you will be introduced to some of the key challenges in this part of the world.
